Bello Abdulkadir Fanini, Esq., was born on the 20th April, 1971, at Kofar Fada, Birnin Kudu, Jigawa State. He started his primary education at Central Primary School (now Yakubu Pilot Primary School), Birnin Kudu in 1977, and was transferred to Gandun Nassarawa Primary School Kano where he completed his primary education. He had his Secondary Education at Junior Secondary School Sabuwar Kofa and Senior Secondary School Sharada all in the ancient city of Kano. He obtained Bachelors Degree in Law (LLB Hons.) from Bayero University Kano in 1997, and proceeded to the Nigerian Law School Bwari Abuja, where he was called to the Bar in 1999.
He was offered employment with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in January 2001, on the ground of being the most hardworking National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member that served in the Commission during his service year.
In the course of his over 22 years’ career in CAC, characterized with hardworking, dedication, transparency, excellent service delivery, digital transformation and sound application of the law, where he grew up through the ranks to become the head of Bauchi, Sokoto, Kano, Rivers and FCT Abuja offices. He also served as member of several reform and intervention committees, including being the secretary of Business Incentive Scheme (BIS), a Federal Government intervention program on the registration of SME’s at 50% discount. In addition to being a practicing lawyer, he is also a Certified Quality Management System (QMS) Auditor and a Chartered Arbitrator/Mediator. He was among the QMS Auditors that guided CAC to earn the prestigious International Standard Organization (ISO) 9001:2008 and 9001:2015 certifications. He also attended several local and foreign courses, including a course on digital transformation and E-service delivery at the American University in Cairo Egypt and Zayed University Dubai, UAE.
A visionary leader par excellence, Mr. Fanini is a strong advocate for an egalitarian society founded on good governance and effective leadership. He is a reformer that has encouraged many youths to pursue quality life founded on qualitative education and good principles. He is a staunch believer in leveraging on modern techniques and technology to bring out the best human resources in civil service and entrepreneurial community.
He has made outstanding contributions to the development of Nigerian law, jurisprudence and advocacy through the handling of many cases in his rea of specialization Corporate Law and Practice. He is also a philanthropist with a pure vision to ensure equal access to justice and justice for all.
He is happily married with six children; he loves charitable work and intellectual Daáwah.
