Aliyu Abdullahi graduated from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto in 2005 where he obtained a Bachelors Degree in Law (LL.B Hons. Combined) and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2007 as a Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria after attending a year vocational training at the Nigerian Law School in 2006.
He did his mandatory National Youth Service (NYSC) at Bayelsa State in the year, 2007 where he was posted to the Bayelsa State Judiciary and worked from March, 2007 – March, 2008 as a Research Assistant.
He had a brief stint in private legal practice at the Law Firm of Ultimate Chambers (Legal Practitioners and Consultants), Dutse, Jigawa State from April – September, 2008. In the month of September, 2008, he was employed in the Civil Service of Jigawa State and posted to the Ministry of Justice as a Senior State Counsel, where he rose through the rank to become an Assistant Director Civil Litigation.
Abdullahi’s quest for knowledge took him to Bayero University, Kano where he obtained a Master of Laws Degree (LL.M) in 2016. He is currently a Ph.D Scholar at the University of Jos, Jos, Plateau State.
Mr Abdullahi is an advocate per excellence in litigation and also is a committed and resourceful researcher.
