Jigawa Ministry of Justice Website unveiled.
With a view to improving access to justice in Jigawa State, the Honourable Attorney-General Commissioner for Justice Jigawa State, Dr Musa Adamu Aliyu has, with support from the Center for Democracy and Development (CDD), unveiled the official website of the Jigawa State Ministry of Justice on Monday 2nd November, 2020. The website address is https://www.moj.jg.gov.ng
In its quest to meet up with the global trend on ICT, the leadership of the Ministry had since its inception in September 2019, started a tremendous digital transformation through digital literacy and capacity building. In recent months, all lawyers in the Ministry were trained on how to manage their court cases digitally using the recent E-Law resources (legal resources on the internet) via softwares and applications.
In a bid to reach out to multitude of stakeholders while at the same time making justice delivery easy and accessible to all, the Ministry has also set up and made available to public its social media platforms/accounts. This is aimed at reaching out to the public who may wish to forward complaints and suggestions. The following are the social media handles:

The Honourable Attorney-General has thanked Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar, MON, mni, for providing the necessary leverage and support to the Ministry and for showing genuine commitment towards ensuring transparency and fairness in bringing justice to all. The Commissioner has also acknowledged and appreciated the technical assistance of CDD for availing their technical support to the Ministry. He also assured members of the public of his readiness to always give a listening ear to every complaint and suggestion aimed at moving the justice sector forward.
