The Jigawa State Governor Alhaji Muhammadu Badaru has appointed Alhaji Lawan Abdu Babura as the new Chairman of the Civil service commission with the view to maintain the core values of honesty, integrity and objectivity in the Jigawa Civil service .
Alhaji Lawan was sworn in by the Executive Governor and the Oath of office was administered by the Director Legal Drafting Barrister Usman Adamu from Jigawa Ministry of Justice.
Other Members of the Commission sworn in are Alhaji Mohammed Tukur Fagam, Alhaji Muhammadu Bari Birniwa and Alhaji Babandi Sale Gumel as part time Commissioner.
Speaking to news men after the ceremony, Babura thanked the His Excellency Alhaji Muhammadu Badaru Abubakar for giving him the opportunity to serve the state and assured his commitment to deliver the mandate.
