BILL FOR A LAW TO ESTABLISH PUBLIC COMPLAINT AND ANTI CORRUPTION COMMISSION IN JIGAWA STATE
The Chairman and members of Jigawa State Technical Committee for Anti Corruption Mechanism had shortly after its last meeting yesterday in Abuja, paid a courtesy call on the D.G./C.E.O., NITDA Nigeria, Mallam Kashif Inuwa Abdullahi CCIE, at the Corporate Office of the Agency, N0. 28 Port Harcourt Cresent, Off Gimbiya Street, Garki Area 11, Abuja.
During the visit, the Chairman of the Committee who happens to be the Attorney General of the State Musa Adamu Aliyu PhD, made a brief presentation on the term of reference of the committee to the D.G., on some of the developments of the Jigawa State Government under the leadership of His Excellency Mohammed Badaru Mon, mni.
The D.G., thereafter exhibited his readiness to complement the effort of the Governor and assist the proposed commission in the area of Information Technology been one of the effective way of fighting corruption in Nigeria.
Among the committee members present are Chairman Jigawa State House Committee on Justice and Judiciary Barr. Hon. Mallam Abubakar Jallo, Clerk of the Jigawa State House of Assembly Barr. Musa Aliyu Abubakar, Mr. E. Akomaye pioneer Secretary EFCC., Ass. Prof. Dahiru Jaafar Usman other prominent persons and Garba Abubakar Chairman NBA Dutse Branch.
