Zainab Adamu Gumel graduated from the University of Abuja where she studied law (LL.B) and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2007.
Mrs Adamu served as the pupil state counsel in the Ministry of Justice, Kano during her youth service from 2007 to 2008.
Mrs Adamu was appointed a State Counsel in the Ministry of Justice Jigawa State in the year 2009 and raise through the rank to her current position as Chief State Counsel. She has served inter-ministerial Committees on issues of Health, Children and Women
Mrs Adamu is a Women Rights activist and a member of International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA).
She is skilled in Court room advocacy, legal drafting and versatile according to the demands of the job.
